Get a Good Second Opinion
November 19th, 2012
by Bill Boyajian

For many people, December is a time for family and friends. It’s a time for reflecting and appreciating the wonders and beauty of life. But it may also be a time for thinking and planning for the new year…

I work hard in my consulting practice to help people in and out of the jewelry industry improve their business, lead and manage their company, and plan and execute for increased profitability and effectiveness. But I find that most people and businesses either don’t want help or feel they don’t need help. Actually, many people are too proud to admit they need help, so their ego gets in the way of their own success.

One of the hardest things for the human spirit is to recognize when we need help. It takes much more courage to ask for help when you need it than to try to do things on your own. Please think this through over the holidays and be ready to seek the help you need when you need it. Even if it just means getting a good second opinion on a key new direction for your life or business, getting some help will be a worthwhile investment.

“I needed help orchestrating a succession plan for our business. I had heard that Bill Boyajian specialized in assisting owners to transition their business to the next generation. He knows how to bridge the generation gap and deliver what each needs to hear. I would recommend Bill to any business owner who needs advice on succession planning from a trusted outside professional.”

"Our family needed some guidance on business transition and succession planning. We asked Bill Boyajian to help us because we knew we could trust him to tell us what we needed to hear. Bill became a valuable resource for our company and our entire family. He has the ability to meet each of us where we’re at and it has served us very well."

“We needed a plan to transition our business to a non-family member and we asked Bill Boyajian to help us. His experience in the area has really paid off, but we didn’t expect the added value of putting us together with a financial planner who helped organize our retirement needs. We now have the fundamentals to transition our business successfully, and we have Bill to thank for it.”
