Display Your Prices!
April 3rd, 2013
by Bill Boyajian

I’m constantly amazed at jewelers – and even manufacturers – who won’t exhibit their prices in jewelry showcases. Some say it’s tacky and think they’re smarter and “classier” if they don’t.

Displaying your prices to consumer’s does three important things:

1) It builds trust and confidence with clientele because it shows openness and transparency.
2) It encourages people to browse around (and stick around longer) in the store.
3) It motivates people to ask to see items they feel fit their price range.

This works just as well with suppliers at a trade show. Displaying prices is simply good business. You’ll be surprised at the number of people who will be delighted with your pricing, especially when they would never stop to ask for the price of an item if you didn’t display it.

Prices should be displayed on jewelry pieces. Do it elegantly and make your pricing visibly clear. You’ll make more sales and happier customers. Do it today.

“I needed help orchestrating a succession plan for our business. I had heard that Bill Boyajian specialized in assisting owners to transition their business to the next generation. He knows how to bridge the generation gap and deliver what each needs to hear. I would recommend Bill to any business owner who needs advice on succession planning from a trusted outside professional.”

"Our family needed some guidance on business transition and succession planning. We asked Bill Boyajian to help us because we knew we could trust him to tell us what we needed to hear. Bill became a valuable resource for our company and our entire family. He has the ability to meet each of us where we’re at and it has served us very well."

“We needed a plan to transition our business to a non-family member and we asked Bill Boyajian to help us. His experience in the area has really paid off, but we didn’t expect the added value of putting us together with a financial planner who helped organize our retirement needs. We now have the fundamentals to transition our business successfully, and we have Bill to thank for it.”
