Patience

33745221_sPatience is a wonderful virtue.  Too often we get anxious for something to happen, but we need to learn to be patient.  You wouldn’t dive into a pool without knowing the depth of the water.  You wouldn’t pick an unripe fruit before it is ready.  Nor would you tackle a huge project without estimating the cost and the time it would take to complete it.  Patience is a matter of perspective.

If you’re looking for a turnaround in business, it won’t occur overnight.  But what can occur is your willingness and determination to make a transition in your thinking, and then a change in your habits to begin the process of improvement.  You don’t lose 10 pounds overnight, nor do you increase business 10% in a week.  You improve things over a period of time with the proper patience, resolve, commitment, and discipline in place to have enduring success.

Next time you get impatient, ask yourself why.  Then relax, gain some perspective, and realize that patience is a virtue you want to master.

“I needed help orchestrating a succession plan for our business. I had heard that Bill Boyajian specialized in assisting owners to transition their business to the next generation. He knows how to bridge the generation gap and deliver what each needs to hear. I would recommend Bill to any business owner who needs advice on succession planning from a trusted outside professional.”

"Our family needed some guidance on business transition and succession planning. We asked Bill Boyajian to help us because we knew we could trust him to tell us what we needed to hear. Bill became a valuable resource for our company and our entire family. He has the ability to meet each of us where we’re at and it has served us very well."

“We needed a plan to transition our business to a non-family member and we asked Bill Boyajian to help us. His experience in the area has really paid off, but we didn’t expect the added value of putting us together with a financial planner who helped organize our retirement needs. We now have the fundamentals to transition our business successfully, and we have Bill to thank for it.”
