A Worthy Philosophy

Time passes quickly, and the older we get, the faster time seems to fly. Someone once said that the role of paper towels in our kitchen seems so full when just opened, but as it gets toward the end, it seems to go so quickly. Life is like that.

As much as we try to slow the pace of time, it only seems to accelerate each year, and once gone, is lost forever. So since we can’t really access more time than is humanly possible, we might want to consider how to use our time most wisely.

Each of us wants to be successful and have a fulfilling life. And we can define that success as fame and fortune, or we can consider other areas that bring us joy: a loving family, an investment in the lives of people, or even a strong faith that puts spiritual meaning ahead of earthly understanding.

We all have a calling, and it is a valuable exercise to consider what brings meaning to life, and what does not. No one can tell you what that will be, but each of us can try to discover it on our own, and to contemplate a philosophy that brings solace to a life well-lived.

That’s the beauty of living: to enjoy life and to live it joyfully and with meaning. What a worthwhile thing to consider.

Here are a few Business & Life Tips to think about…..

Business Tips:
  • Schedule time to get away every few months to think and to plan. You’ll be surprised how easy (and beneficial) this can be.
  • If you want to build the culture of your company, your department, or your team, lead your people with passion and purpose.
  • The core value of your business success is the relationship you form with your clients. They are your best advocates.

Life Tips:

  • Simple is better than complicated. Less is often better than more. Bigger isn’t necessarily better either. What are you striving for?
  • If we only treated each other with the unconditional love that our dogs treat us, the world would be a much kinder place
  • Many people aren’t happy with themselves: their looks, their job, their circumstances. Best to count your blessings for life itself.

“I needed help orchestrating a succession plan for our business. I had heard that Bill Boyajian specialized in assisting owners to transition their business to the next generation. He knows how to bridge the generation gap and deliver what each needs to hear. I would recommend Bill to any business owner who needs advice on succession planning from a trusted outside professional.”

"Our family needed some guidance on business transition and succession planning. We asked Bill Boyajian to help us because we knew we could trust him to tell us what we needed to hear. Bill became a valuable resource for our company and our entire family. He has the ability to meet each of us where we’re at and it has served us very well."

“We needed a plan to transition our business to a non-family member and we asked Bill Boyajian to help us. His experience in the area has really paid off, but we didn’t expect the added value of putting us together with a financial planner who helped organize our retirement needs. We now have the fundamentals to transition our business successfully, and we have Bill to thank for it.”
