| What Weighs You Down? August 13th, 2026 by Bill Boyajian |
If you’re like most of us, you tend to take on too much or worry about things you can’t control. Here’s a good rule of thumb: If you can’t do anything about a problem, why worry about it. Likewise, if you have a problem and can do something about it, just do it. So the question remains, how much of what you carry – or try to carry – is not yours to carry at all? If this weighs you down, consider shifting the weight off your shoulders and on to someone who can do something about it. Every burden is not your call unless you make it your call. If you’re wired to solve issues or burdens beyond your own circle, consider how fragmented your solutions might be without the support of others. All this does is weigh you down. You can’t solve everything, but just because you can’t doesn’t mean you should do nothing. Pick your battles wisely, but also remember that what’s weighing you down may not be your burden to carry. |

“I needed help orchestrating a succession plan for our business. I had heard that Bill Boyajian specialized in assisting owners to transition their business to the next generation. He knows how to bridge the generation gap and deliver what each needs to hear. I would recommend Bill to any business owner who needs advice on succession planning from a trusted outside professional.”

"Our family needed some guidance on business transition and succession planning. We asked Bill Boyajian to help us because we knew we could trust him to tell us what we needed to hear. Bill became a valuable resource for our company and our entire family. He has the ability to meet each of us where we’re at and it has served us very well."

“We needed a plan to transition our business to a non-family member and we asked Bill Boyajian to help us. His experience in the area has really paid off, but we didn’t expect the added value of putting us together with a financial planner who helped organize our retirement needs. We now have the fundamentals to transition our business successfully, and we have Bill to thank for it.”
