Take Hold of Your Role
April 26th, 2018
by Bill Boyajian

Habits can be good or bad.  Most of us have many of each.

One of the bad habits I see in people is their acceptance of things the way they are without trying to change them.  Said another way, we can all become complacent in our jobs, in our homes, in our communities, and in our lives.  Complacency is a killer when it comes to leadership and management in both business and life.

Remembering past challenges and learning from them is an effective means of growth and development.  But being trapped by the past is not.  One of my constant refrains for clients is to take hold of their business and to do something to make it better.  That same advice is equally applicable to taking hold of our lives to make them better.

I believe in hope, but it is not as good a business or life strategy as committing to make a necessary change and executing on it.  So what are you doing to make your business, your job, or your life better?  Take hold of your role!

“I needed help orchestrating a succession plan for our business. I had heard that Bill Boyajian specialized in assisting owners to transition their business to the next generation. He knows how to bridge the generation gap and deliver what each needs to hear. I would recommend Bill to any business owner who needs advice on succession planning from a trusted outside professional.”

"Our family needed some guidance on business transition and succession planning. We asked Bill Boyajian to help us because we knew we could trust him to tell us what we needed to hear. Bill became a valuable resource for our company and our entire family. He has the ability to meet each of us where we’re at and it has served us very well."

“We needed a plan to transition our business to a non-family member and we asked Bill Boyajian to help us. His experience in the area has really paid off, but we didn’t expect the added value of putting us together with a financial planner who helped organize our retirement needs. We now have the fundamentals to transition our business successfully, and we have Bill to thank for it.”
