Take the Road Less Traveled
November 6th, 2020
by Bill Boyajian

As we enter the new year, the election is over, but COVID-19 is not. Uncertainty and ambiguity remain.

Many have been severely impacted by the pandemic, while others have benefitted. This is always true of change, but the cause and effect relationship has been amplified. 2020 is a unique, even horrific, year in most of our minds.

But what of 2021?

Ambiguity still clouds us, but we need a plan. Plans can change as circumstances alter, but it is still wise to have a plan.

It is far better to move forward than to hunker down. Action is better than reaction. Future thinking and planning are better than wallowing in the past.

Exhibiting confidence in the face of challenge and change is never easy, but neither is life or business. We have to move on. People always want to follow a leader who is going somewhere.

Which is why I ask: Where are you going in 2021? That answer will determine your future.

“I needed help orchestrating a succession plan for our business. I had heard that Bill Boyajian specialized in assisting owners to transition their business to the next generation. He knows how to bridge the generation gap and deliver what each needs to hear. I would recommend Bill to any business owner who needs advice on succession planning from a trusted outside professional.”

"Our family needed some guidance on business transition and succession planning. We asked Bill Boyajian to help us because we knew we could trust him to tell us what we needed to hear. Bill became a valuable resource for our company and our entire family. He has the ability to meet each of us where we’re at and it has served us very well."

“We needed a plan to transition our business to a non-family member and we asked Bill Boyajian to help us. His experience in the area has really paid off, but we didn’t expect the added value of putting us together with a financial planner who helped organize our retirement needs. We now have the fundamentals to transition our business successfully, and we have Bill to thank for it.”
