Ready for the Selling Season? The average retailer will generate 22% of his or her annual sales in the month of December. That can either excite you or scare you. How can you be prepared to have the best Holiday Season ever? Here are a few key tips: 1. You should already have the right inventory in stock and ready to deliver, with multiple fast-selling items on hand. 2. Your staff should be prepared to sell. They must be pumped all year long, but especially in December. 3. You need to clear your calendar and be “up” every day. If you’re the owner or manager, you need to motivate your staff and make a lot of the sales yourself. Do these well and you’ll have a successful selling season. Nothing happens until a sale is made! Sell well! Be a Leader People Follow Are you doing a good job leading your store, your business, your department? Be honest. Followership is a natural companion – a true measure – of good leadership. Followers believe what good leaders say and do, and trust them for what they may not yet know or understand. It’s not a blind faith. It’s a faith based on their confidence in those leading, the result of past experiences, and the good character and reputation of those in charge. It’s not how well you think you’re leading. It’s how much your followers believe it. Look over your shoulder from time to time to see who’s following. Lead well!
Here are a few Business & Life Tips to think about….. Business Tips: • Don’t discount your valuable products and services. Have the faith, confidence, and courage to stand up to price competition. • If you run a business, sell products or services, or support either, you need to stay in front of your customers with quality and integrity. • Don’t put things off today in the hopes that they’ll go away. They seldom do. Things tend to get worse with procrastination. Life Tips: • Instead of trying to be the best, try being better at what you do. Start with family and friends as a priority today and through the holiday season. • Part of being thoughtful is being flexible, whether in marriage, business, friendships, or any relationship. • There is no reason to get upset over things that are out of your control. Control what you can and be patient with what you can’t control Tags: Advice, Business Tips, Customer Service, Determination, Drive, Knowledge, Leadership Excellence, Leadership Skills, Life Tips, Motivation, Personal Development, Philosophy, Sales, Trust |

“I needed help orchestrating a succession plan for our business. I had heard that Bill Boyajian specialized in assisting owners to transition their business to the next generation. He knows how to bridge the generation gap and deliver what each needs to hear. I would recommend Bill to any business owner who needs advice on succession planning from a trusted outside professional.”

"Our family needed some guidance on business transition and succession planning. We asked Bill Boyajian to help us because we knew we could trust him to tell us what we needed to hear. Bill became a valuable resource for our company and our entire family. He has the ability to meet each of us where we’re at and it has served us very well."

“We needed a plan to transition our business to a non-family member and we asked Bill Boyajian to help us. His experience in the area has really paid off, but we didn’t expect the added value of putting us together with a financial planner who helped organize our retirement needs. We now have the fundamentals to transition our business successfully, and we have Bill to thank for it.”
